Planning for a trip can be fun or a headache depending on your state of mind. Packing on the other hand is one thing most people dread or procrastinate on until they're throwing random items into a suitcase the night before their trip. I've been there. I've overpacked, only used a quarter of what I brought, and paid for that extra bag! When I decided to develop an official packing list, it changed the way I travel. The list has helped me pack less so I don't have as much luggage ie.1 carry-on, 1 bag or back pack, and a small purse. Having less luggage means generally the airfare costs less, there's a greater ease of movement, and I don't waste precious time deciding what to wear. This list has proven to work for me, even on a 3 week winter trip to Western Europe, and provide a more enjoyable packing experience! I hope it can provide the same for you.
