  • BermudAir is set to launch two new flight services to Baltimore and Orlando. The service to Baltimore-Washington International Airport will start on March 18, with flights to Orlando International Airport service beginning on March 26.

  • Qatar Airways is providing greater connectivity with direct flights to Hamburg in Germany, Toulouse in France, Bahrain, Ras Al Khaimah in United Arab Emirates, Tabuk, Neom, AlUla and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia via one stop in Doha. Plus, rediscover Venice in Italy, Birmingham in England, Casablanca in Morocco and Nice in France as the carrier resumes flights to these destinations.

  • Canada’s Lynx Air is set to add a new U.S. destination from Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, it will open a 3X-weekly service to Los Angeles from July 11, increasing to daily from Aug. 11.

  • United Airlines has plans to open a new seasonal route from Washington to Alaska. The carrier will serve Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport from Washington Dulles International Airport daily starting May 23.

  • UK leisure carrier Jet2.com has plans to commence their weekly Saturday service from Manchester Airport, England, to Verona, Italy. Flights will start on Dec. 21 and operate during the ski season through April 5, 2025.

  • EasyJet is expanding its network from Athens International Airport starting this summer. The airline will fly from Athens Int. Airport to Lyon, France, from March 31 (3X-weekly); Bordeaux, France, from April 4 (2X-weekly); Venice, Italy, from April 22 (2X-weekly); Malaga, Spain, from June 1 (2X-weekly); and Palma de Mallorca, Spain, from June 27 (2X-weekly).

  • This route has been around for a bit although the news here is the services are doubling in 2024! Brussels to Amsterdam with SNCB and NS, new trains have been ordered, adding these to the route will allow shorter journey times.

  • This luxury train will be a lovely addition in late 2024, Paris to Madrid at a top speed of 249 mph on Trenitalia – a subsidiary of FS Italiane Group.

  • The Accor owned Orient Express will launch a new luxurious train, La Dolce Vita, in 2024. The exact dates are yet to be confirmed. We do know there will be six routes on offer and this luxury train line won’t be high-speed train travel but carefully curated itineraries that take the traveler between destinations in northern and southern Italy, including Rome and Venice, where the Orient Express group will unveil its first hotels this year.
